Heavy consumers need three-phase power: an induction hob on a Perilex connection, machinery in the workshop, or a heat pump or sauna on its own three-phase circuit. The electrician runs the circuit from the meter cupboard and fits the right connection.
Expect € 200 to € 600 per connection, depending on the cable distance and whether the fuse box has room. If the home still has a single-phase connection, the upgrade to three-phase runs via the grid operator — that application and its costs are separate from the electrician's work.
